John Eales is a former Australian Rugby Union player who led the Wallabies from 1996 to his retirement in 2001. Since then, John has held various non-Executive Director positions in listed ASX businesses and unlisted businesses which he has invested in. His interest and investment in DMC has been further enhanced through his family’s experience with anaphylaxis.
Professor Fraser is an intensive care specialist, researcher, clinician scientist, innovator and disruptor. His scientific endeavours have highlighted to him the potential of medical technologies in the heart and lung arena when developed symbiotically with world class clinicians, researchers, developers - with the patient at the heart of these innovation.
Dr Glen Richards is a veterinary surgeon and the founder and former CEO of Greencross Limited, Australia’s largest pet care company. Glen spent 10 years building a multi-million dollar integrated pet care empire, which now operates more than 200 veterinary hospitals and 300 pet care retail stores in Australia and Animates in New Zealand.
Ross Dobinson has a background in venture capital and investment banking. He is currently the Managing Director of TSL Group Ltd. Ross is a founder, former CEO, and current Non-Executive Chairman of ASX listed Acrux Limited.
Greg Spurgin graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991 with degrees in both Physical therapy and Human Movement Studies. One year later, Greg founded the Allsports Physical Therapy group with six outpatient clinics within Brisbane and Australia.

A senior executive with a global mindset, Peter brings his extensive S&P 500 company experience to DMC as CEO. His skills in building and leading multi-million dollar, technology driven businesses in highly competitive and fast-paced environments are being utilised to get the best outcomes for DMC, for patients, investors and the team.

Sonia Barber is an internationally recognised lawyer. She has practiced in Australia and the Middle East for almost 20 years, advising clients on all legal facets of their operations. Sonia holds director or management advisory positions with a number of enterprises.
John brings over 30 years’ experience in commercial, business and strategic advisory, governance, corporate, investment and project skills to De Motu Cordis. He has 23 years’ corporate banking experience, occupying senior banking roles with both ANZ and Suncorp.
Sean is an Australian born, scientific entrepreneur and consultant managing operations in both San Francisco USA, and Brisbane Australia. He is an accomplished drug discovery and development leader with 25 years global experience in Biotech, Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries. As a Consultant CSO, Sean brings to DMC a combination of scientific, engineering, and business skills at an executive leadership level. Sean is experienced in new drug development across all clinical stages and registration.
Mike brings over 30 years of experience in the health and medical industry. Having held senior quality leadership positions with global Invitro Diagnostic and Medical Device organisations, he has extensive quality acumen for guiding the commercialisation of innovative new products through the journey from design, manufacturing and onto post market activities within highly regulated environments.
John is an engineer with a passion for biomedical technology who brings a raft of skills from careers in both engineering and pharmacy. He has gained a breadth of engineering experience across a number of industries and has been involved with all facets of product development. Prior to John's engineering career, he practised as a registered pharmacist obtaining eight years of experience in the community setting.
Ben is an engineer from the United Kingdom who brings with him a wealth of mechanical engineering expertise from a focused career within the medical devices field. His previous positions centred around novel orthopaedic applications, working in a design, product development and validation capacity. Ben holds a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences and an MSc in Medical Engineering from the University of Leeds, England.
Ian is an Industrial Designer with over 20 years product development experience in bringing ideas to market with focus on user needs, product design, prototyping and part manufacturability. With a strong background in consultancy based work, he has gained experience working with a large range of companies and market segments, ranging from early phase startups in consumer and sporting fields though to multi-nationals in mining, logistics, music production, agtech and health care.
Kristin is a biomedical engineer with experience in the implantable medical device industry. Prior to DMC, Kristin spent 5 years at Cochlear commencing in the 2018 Graduate Engineer Program. This included rotations across the wider business with exposure to many different projects and challenges.
Lachlan graduated from the University of Queensland in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with honours. His thesis work in conjunction with Pitch Black Group and the University of Queensland, was focused on the investigation of small-scale renewable energy where he was deeply involved in research, development, design, and manufacturing.
With 10 years of administrative experience, Maureen has a proven track record of managing administrative structures with excellence and identifying refinements within those administrative systems.
Colleen is an administrative professional with over 15 years’ experience in a range of high-profile organisations both in Australia and the United Kingdom. These roles include supporting CEO’s and Executive Directors in a range of sectors including finance, government, education and travel.
