Ian is an Industrial Designer with over 20 years product development experience in bringing ideas to market with focus on user needs, product design, prototyping and part manufacturability. With a strong background in consultancy based work, he has gained experience working with a large range of companies and market segments, ranging from early phase startups in consumer and sporting fields though to multi-nationals in mining, logistics, music production, agtech and health care.

Working closely with manufacturing partners domestically and across Asia, as well as in North America during his time working in Canada, Ian has broad experience and a detailed understanding of many production processes and techniques. He has designed many products with engineering plastics, pressed and machined metals, and integrating electronics into seamless end products to specified requirements.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Built Environment (Industrial Design) and a Graduate Diploma in Industrial Design from Brisbane’s Queensland University of Technology.
