Ben is an engineer from the United Kingdom who brings with him a wealth of expertise from across the various engineering specialisms. His career to date has focused within medical devices, with his most recent position working for a spin out company from the University of Oxford in an R&D capacity. Here he was instrumental in the development and optimisation a novel spinal orthopaedic replacement along with a therapeutic ultrasound-based application, applying knowledge of mechanical and acoustics engineering to human physiology. Previous projects to this focused around design, optimisation and validation of patient assistive devices, diagnostic equipment, and rehabilitative applications across various stages of the product development cycle.
Ben holds a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences and an MSc in Medical Engineering from the University of Leeds, England.
